Scent of spring

Winter in the city can be really boring. The basic color of each day is grey and we are lucky if we see sun once in a while. While it is snowing in the mountains and everything is white, clean and beautiful we get rain or snow that melts as soon as it reached the ground, so the end result is dirty shoes and bad mood. In months like this it is always nice to browse next season's pieces, especially when the scent of spring is already in the air. First, it is exciting and fresh to see the new fashion trends different from the dark colors of winter and it is good to plan how to update your wardrobe as the new collections are already in shops.

I have chosen several spring/summer pieces that I really like - I have tried to cover the major trends present in the upcoming collections. In general, spring fashion is very feminine, light, clean with a splash of vivid colors here and there. The colors are pastel and neutral varying from white, beige, nude, rose... Many of the collections have a pastoral tone present (Chanel depicted this trend very well in their famous barn-show). The femininity of the models is emphasized by the sheer fabrics used or revealing design of pieces.

For those who like the tougher style there is the option to choose military jackets and other pieces in military green or khaki. If this is too simple to attract attention try playing with patterns in bold colors.

Finally, unlike in previous seasons the sport look is very present in spring. T-shirts and especially shorts (of any length) are a must have.
