To avoid the always changing weather today, I'd rather stay at home (in my pijamas the whole day) and devote some time to beautifying and relaxation...going to a spa center for several hours isn't a bad idea either. Tonight meeting friends for couple of drinks in some nice bar with good music.

Today is a healthy lifestyle day...training after work, vegetables and fruits and lots of water...tonight relaxing with a movie or a book - most probably "If you like school you'll love work" by Irvine Welsh...

It's Monday and it's cold again...in days like this, it is important to feel warm while being stylish at the workplace - sweater dresses worn with flat boots are great for it...in days like this I love spending the evenings in the theater or having a glass of wine with friends...

Winter in the city can be really boring. The basic color of each day is grey and we are lucky if we see sun once in a while. While it is snowing in the mountains and everything is white, clean and beautiful we get rain or snow that melts as soon as it reached the ground, so the end result is dirty shoes and bad mood. In months like this it is always nice to browse next season's pieces, especially when the scent of spring is already in the air. First, it is exciting and fresh to see the new fashion trends different from the dark colors of winter and it is good to plan how to update your wardrobe as the new collections are already in shops.
I have chosen several spring/summer pieces that I really like - I have tried to cover the major trends present in the upcoming collections. In general, spring fashion is very feminine, light, clean with a splash of vivid colors here and there. The colors are pastel and neutral varying from white, beige, nude, rose... Many of the collections have a pastoral tone present (Chanel depicted this trend very well in their famous barn-show). The femininity of the models is emphasized by the sheer fabrics used or revealing design of pieces.
For those who like the tougher style there is the option to choose military jackets and other pieces in military green or khaki. If this is too simple to attract attention try playing with patterns in bold colors.
Finally, unlike in previous seasons the sport look is very present in spring. T-shirts and especially shorts (of any length) are a must have.

McQueen was famous for his extravagance, great creativity and imagination beyond any limit. Feeling constrained as a head designer for Givenchy he collaborated with Gucci, become creative director and established his own label with boutiques all around the world. He is famous for creating the bumster trousers in 1996 - they became a the must have of the time.
The talent of McQueen was remarkable and his fashion shows were anticipated as each of them was an intriguing, magical journey to some land of dark, but rich fantasy. One fashion editor wrote on her blog today that she can't forget the mystic venues and setting where McQueen used to organize his shows. Once, in Paris the location was an old warehouse where you could here the wind blowing which gave the atmosphere the creepiness needed for a show that featured witch-inspired designs. Still, the most memorable show was the one in March,2006 when a hologram of Kate Moss appeared on the catwalk.
The most influential women figures in McQueen's life had been Isabela Blow, a stylist who has bought his entire post-graduate collection and has thus launched him in the fashion world, and his mother. He lost both of them (his mother only days ago) and many claim that this has been devastating him.
McQueen had been awarded four times designer of the year in Britain. He was 40, this would have been the year of the 20th anniversary in his career and he was preparing for the Paris Fashion Week in March when he was supposed to unveil his Fall 2010 collection.
R.I.P. Mr. McQueen.

I am finally on Twitter....Tough I have joined Twitter long ago, I have now finally decided to get active in this social network and I think I like very much the short and concise way it works. Can't wait to get the first fashion followers and tweets.
See you there!
